What you get back, when, and how to ask. Written plainly so there is nothing to discover afterwards.

01The short version
- Cancel whenever you like. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not refund part-used periods on a pro-rata basis, except in the specific situations listed below.
- Credits are never refunded, because credits are not money — see the section on credits.
- If output has gone wrong, we would rather fix it than argue. The first thing we do is put the credits back.
- If anything here does not sit right with you, email support@gallusprojectsuk.com before doing anything else. A person reads it.
02Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from the plan page inside your account. It takes two clicks and does not require you to contact us.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the current period: your paid features remain available until the last day you have paid for, and the account then moves to the Free plan with your work still in it.
Because you keep the service you paid for until the period ends, cancelling part-way through a period does not produce a refund of that period.
03When we do refund
- You were charged after cancelling. Refunded in full.
- You were charged twice for the same period. The duplicate is refunded in full.
- You were charged for a plan you never had access to, because of a fault on our side. Refunded in full.
- You bought a yearly plan and asked for a refund within 14 days of the first payment, having run no more than one pass. Refunded in full.
- We removed a material feature from your plan, or stopped offering the service, during a period you had paid for. The unused part of that period is refunded proportionately.
- A charge was made without your authority. Refunded in full, and we will help you work out how it happened.
04When we do not refund
- You changed your mind part-way through a monthly period that you have been using.
- You did not use the service during a period you paid for. The plan was available to you throughout.
- You did not spend the credits your plan issued. Credits are not carried over and not refundable.
- You are unhappy with how a concept frame looks. Output is a concept, not a commissioned piece; the remedy for a bad pass is credits back, not money back — see the next section.
- Your account was closed by us for a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
05If the output went wrong
Generated output is not guaranteed to be good. Sometimes it is worse than that: a pass fails half way, the four frames come back too alike, a mood board renders broken tiles, or the service was degraded when you ran it.
In those cases, tell us at support@gallusprojectsuk.com within 14 days with the date and the one-line idea you used. We look at the usage ledger, and where the fault is on our side we credit the pass back to your account so you can run it again. Credits, not cash, are the remedy here — and in practice they are a faster one, because they put you back where you were on the same day.
If the service was materially unavailable for a prolonged period during a plan you paid for, we will refund the proportion of that period instead. You do not need to ask twice.
06Credits are not refundable, and here is why
Credits are issued by your plan at the start of each period and are not carried over. There are no credit packs, no top-ups, and no way to buy credits separately from a plan, so there is never a purchase of credits to be refunded.
If your plan runs out mid-period, the options are to move up a plan or to wait for the next period. Moving up takes effect immediately and issues the new plan’s allowance; the amount you already paid for the current period is set against the new plan’s charge.
Credits are a service usage allowance. They are not money, not electronic money, not stored value, not a prepayment for goods, not redeemable for cash, not refundable, and not transferable between accounts or to any other person.
07How to ask for a refund
Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 working days once issued, depending on your bank. That part is out of our hands, but we will tell you the date the refund was sent so you can point your bank at it.
- Email support@gallusprojectsuk.com from the address on the account.
- Tell us which charge you mean — the date and the amount is enough.
- Tell us in a sentence what went wrong. You do not need to make a case.
- We reply within two working days, and in most instances the same day.
- Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method. There is no other route, and we cannot send it anywhere else.
08Before you raise a dispute with your bank
Payments for this service appear on your statement as PITCHFACE. If you see a charge you do not recognise, it is almost always that.
Please email support@gallusprojectsuk.com before raising a chargeback. A refund we issue directly reaches you faster than a disputed charge does, and it avoids a process that takes weeks. We will not make you argue for a refund you are plainly entitled to under this policy.
If you do raise a dispute, we will respond to it with the account record, the plan and billing period you agreed at checkout, the timestamped usage ledger, and the record of you accepting the Terms.
09Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits your rights under the consumer law that applies where you live. If the mandatory rules of your country give you more than this policy does, those rules apply.
This policy forms part of the Pitchface Terms of Service.
Effective date: 20 August 2026.
